10.1 Inch Jelly Bean $200 Tablet Launched by Videocon

Videocon has launched its first Android tablet, the VT10, which is up for sale in India for the sum of 11,200 Indian Rupees (INR).indows 8 or Windows RT-loaded slates sell for even more than that, some at over $1,000 / 1,000 Euro.Sure, Videocon compromised and used less powerful hardware, but the components are still good enough to run the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system smoothly.First off we should mention the dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. 1 GB of RAM backs the chip up (random access memory). The integrated storage capacity is of only 8 GB. Flash storage is greatly responsible for the high price of tablets in general, and smartphones too for that matter, so it makes sense that a budget tablet wouldn't use 16 GB or 32 GB, or more.Naturally, a microSD memory card will allow for extra capacity to be added (a maximum of 32 GB).As for everything else, Videocon decided on a 2 megapixel rear camera, an identical camera on the front, Wi-Fi, 3G dongle support and a 6,800 mAh battery. Finally, the 10.1-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display has a native resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Orders can be placed through Snapdeal and Homeshop18. The product ships with a charging adaptor, headset, battery, HDMI cable, OTG cable, the user manual and a warranty card.

Toshiba's four new Regza Android ICS tablets

Toshiba is coming up with four new Regza branded tablets in Japan. The basic specs of these four devices are some what same. But Toshiba has claimed that the four models will have differences in processor, display and resolution. They all are running on the latest Android 4.0 ICS operating system. The four tablets feature a 5 megapixel rear shooter and a 2 megapixel secondary camera having video chatting option. It is decent and good enough to capture images with clarity. These new tablets range in size from 7 inch to 13 inch. The four new tablets are named as Regza AT830, Regza AT570, Regza AT500 and Regza AT700 respectively.
Toshiba’s business strategy seems interesting. Though, launching 4 models with differences mainly in display and processing efficiency seemed quite confusing, but the company has a clear plan behind this. They plan to give customers flexible options to choose one as per their needs and budget. Tablet market is quite hot and competition is getting intense with Toshiba too joining the fray quite aggressively along with Samsung and Apple.

Android dispatch 33 M elegant hand set to usher World

Google's Android operating system turn out to be the world's top smart phone display place, accounting for 33.3 million of the 101.2 million smart phones shipped worldwide in the fourth quarter 2010.Canalys, which crunched smart phone shipments across North America, Asia Pacific, EMEA and Latin America, said Android edged the struggling Nokia, which sold 31 million units for the quarter.Android's market share closed slashed to its
shipment total, at 32.9 percent, while Nokia was at 30.6 percent share through Q4. No. 5 smart phone provider Microsoft's unit shipments and market share were 3.1 million and 3.1 percent, respectively for Q4.Android partly prompted by the first major marketing push of Verizon's Motorola Droid and HTC Droid Eris in the 2009 holiday season."Verizon will move its focus away from the Droid range, but the overall market impact will mean less carrier-exclusive deals, while increasing the AT&T opportunity for Android vendors, such as HTC, Motorola and Samsung," Shepherd added. Most market analyst expects iPhone to easily outshine Android in the United States, nailing 10 million to 20 million unit sales via Verizon alone.

whts next in Android?

Many customers are still stuck waiting for a promised upgrade to Android 4.0 from Android 2.3. The release of Android 4.1 only serves to underline how bad the situation is for some owners. In some cases the promised upgrades have been cancelled, in most cases they are taking a lot longer than originally anticipated. In our view, the only reliable way to get a handset running Android 4.1 will be to buy a handset running Android 4.1 out of the box.
The radically different approach to Windows Phone may also present a problem to manufacturers who will have to go off and redesign their handsets from scratch. In the long term this move is likely to give Microsoft a significant strategic advantage, but Microsoft's partners are likely to be unhappy about having to start again with their smartphone designs. However, several manufacturers have shown commitment to this, and Microsoft have a reasonable chance of some success.

It has a host of connections to share your media in just a seconds.

Huawei MediaPad: It almost no ingredient in a bid to challenge the best 7" tablets out there. it would have been great to have Android ICS out of the box,but the screen has WXGA resolution and 216ppi pixel density - almost as high as the 10.1" Asus Transformer Prime TF700T and its 224ppi 1920x1200 screen.Huawei have been flexing their mobile manufacturing muscle lately and one of their latest creations.10.5mm slim aluminum unibody.also has GPS with A-GPS support; digital compass.

Its a next version of Android operating system today, version 4.1, and as expected, it’s called Jelly Bean.
Jelly Bean is a lot more smooth than any previous Android version, and with the potentially market-defining Nexus 7 being one of the first devices to release with the new firmware as standard, Google has timed it to perfection. Android Tablet

A tablet computer or slate is a touch screen enabled, keyboard free computer.   As you may know the i Pad was the first mainstream tablet that was unveiled in March of 2010.   As usual, Apple has created an amazing, eye-catching product that wowed consumers and continues to impress all with its usefulness, beauty, and functionality.  Now there are many competitors to the original tablet.  Most of the competition is based on the Android Operating System.

Android Tablet Computers share the Google Android operating system, and perhaps more importantly share the Android Market for apps.

Just as with desktop, laptop, notebook and netbook computers, users select the best that fits their needs according to price, design, operating system, and ease of use.
Although some Android tablets are built with 3G or 4G connectivity.  Most are constructed to operate on conventional wi-fi networks.

Android Market

According to a report by analysis firm Convergence Catalyst, the Indian smartphone market is expected to grow by 100 percent with 18 to 20 million devices being sold in the year in comparison to 9.5 million units sold in 2011. The report states that smartphones will encompass for 12 to 14 percent of the total handset sales and Samsung is expected to be the dominant player in the market.

As of now Nokia’s Symbian platform holds about 46 percent in market share while Android holds 28.3 percent of the market, however this will supposedly change. The report states that Android will cross the 50 percent mark in market share while Symbian will drop to 23.3 percent.

Notably the report also states that Windows Phone will see gains, but in the scheme of things it appears to be pretty minimalistic as Windows Phone controlled 1.2 percent of the market in 2011 and is expected to grow to only about 3.6 percent in market share. Clearly this does not bode well for Nokia, but the report states that Nokia will continue to be relevant in the country.

what is android?

Android is a Linux-based operating system for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers. It is developed by the Open Handset Alliance, led by Google.Android has a large community of developers writing applications ("apps") that extend the functionality of the devices. Developers write primarily in a customized version of Java. Apps can be downloaded from third-party sites or through online stores such as Google Play (formerly Android Market), the app store run by Google. In June 2012, there were more than 600,000 apps available for Android, and the estimated number of applications downloaded from Google Play was 20 billion.
