new products at the Unpacked Event during the IFA 2012 expo in Berlin
on August 29. With the launch of the Galaxy Note 2 alongside several
other gadgets, the company has got many credits from all over the tech
world.But,
Samsung has proved that it is not only targeting at the high end
segment of the consumer market but also to the mid-range segment of the
market with its new product.The
world’s largest smartphone manufacturer looks like its getting ready to
release another dual SIM Android smartphone in the budget conscious
Indian market, as a new handset dubbed as Galaxy Y Duos Lite S5302 was
spotted on Flipkart.The design and specifications of the handset are similar to the recently launched Galaxy Pocket, which is priced at Rs 6,300.As
per the Flipkart listing, Galaxy Y Duos Lite measuring 103.5 x 58 x 12
mm sports a 2.8 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 240 x 320 pixel
resolution. The handset will have be equipped with an 832 MHz
processor, 2GB on board memory, a micro SD card slot supporting up to
32GB and 2MP rear camera.Further,
the handset will be packed with connectivity features such as Wi-Fi
802.11 b/g/n, micro USB, Wi-Fi Hotspot, 3G and Bluetooth. Galaxy Y Duos
Lite will have a 1,200 mAh Li-ion battery.Moreover,
the listing claims that the handset will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread
OS, which is an older version of the Google’s OS.
